Conduct Information
Teachers will use a positive reinforcement plan of action, complimenting and rewarding students as often as possible. When a student has chosen to break one of the above rules, a mark will be recorded in a binder for that behavior for that child. The student will be reminded of the rule and how to better follow it. Conduct marks are kept together on a daily basis from class to class, resulting in a daily conduct grade. The five conduct grades for the week will be averaged for a weekly grade which will be recorded in JCampus and in Tuesday folders.
Teachers will call parents if behaviors continue to be a problem or disrupt learning in the classroom. Working together, we are sure those behaviors can be addressed with each child, as needed . Please feel free to email or call the office if you have any questions or your child has told you about a problem that the teacher may not be aware of.
Only major behavior problems will be referred to the office.
